Grid Trickle Feed Issue - CT Coil Inaccurate?
I am having issues with my inverter and my smart meter showing very different import and export measurements. I have the Grid Trickle Feed set to 20W and the inverter shows the total pull from the grid as 20W but my electric meter says the total pull from the grid is 80W which means I’m using way more energy from the grid than I should be as it should be using more battery power. An export example from today which was a cloudy day, the inverter showed 529 watts exporting to the grid whilst the electric meter showed 379 watts exporting to the grid.
My energy supplier Octopus Energy suggested that the meter would be correct and that the inverter’s CT coil clamp is likely giving an inaccurate reading and told me that inverters usually have a CT coil clamp compensation adjustment setting to make it match the meter? Is there a setting for this? I couldn’t find one. Does the inverter use that same CT coil clamp to measure the energy it’s exporting to the grid? Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciate!

Hello all.
I've finally got my energy company (Octopus) to agree to change my meter (I have the L+G E470 Type 5425) as they've just received confirmation from L+G that this meter is faulty.
They are going to change it to either the L+G E470 5533, or an L+G E470 120mm. Does anyone know if these meters work OK with the Sunsynk inverter.
Many thanks
James
