Existing string inverter

Installed a 5.5kW ECCO with 3.2kWp of PV. There is also an exisiting grid tied inverter with 4.5 kW of PV. Whats the best way to utilise the exported power from the existing PV array and store it in the batteries. Seems to be that the only way to do this is very manual - you have to keep adjusting the grid charge settings in the timer menu. Why cant a setting be added to connect such that it automatically collects any excess exported power from other inverters on the instalation. i.e. if grid <0 (from CT) then grid charge rate = mod(grid) or somthing similar...

Hi Guys, The solution is to select microinverter in the Aux settings. You don't need to physically connect the string inverter to the Aux port since the Aux is on a common bus with the grid port when choosing micro-inverter. Then since the other string inverter is at same potential somewhere else in the installation it will still work. Just the internal CT or current measuremnet electronics show nonsence. This way you can dump the energy from the existing FIT system into the battery! Keith explains it in a muddy fashion here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6qegnvQfoo
