SunSynk 5.12KW battery in IP65 housing - cell type?
Greetings!
I recently bought a 5.12KW battery that came in the IP65 housing (this one: https://www.sunsynk.org/ip65-battery)
but would like to add a second battery, and assume that I must add exactly the same battery to run two in parallel.
Question: Does this battery contain CATL or BYD cells? SS website or spec sheet has no info.
Are there any other options to add a SunSynk battery, or must it definitely be the one in the outdoor IP65 housing? Or can it be another SunSynk 5.12KW battery that has the same type of cells - whatever it is that's being in use in the battery with the IP65 housing.
Anyone know for sure? Thanks!

The SunSynk IP65 battery uses LifePo4 cells with 51.2V (3.2v x 16 Cells in series = 51.2V nominal voltage). As long as you connect other packs with similar voltage you'll be fine, but the communication can be difficult. One solution is to set it as AGM V or AGM % and set the voltages manually, this works, but you loose some functionality (cant read BMS parameters from the inverter and so on..)
