Inverter charge settings
I believe this is a very simple question, but the reason I am puzzled is I assume the installers knew what they were doing...
I have a Sunsynk 10K SG04LP3 (3 phase, 10kW) hybrid inverter, sitting between 10kW of PV panels and about 30kWh of batteries. The batteries are 6 Pylontech US5000 (4.8kWh, 100Ah). They have a maximum stable charge current of 80A. They have been installed in parallel, in 2 blocks of 3 - see photo. I understand the current limit for the cables is 100A, so the total cable limit is 200A.
The installers have set a max charging current of 80A at the inverter. As a result, the charging power is 'throttled' at 4kW, and when the PV panels are outputting more than that, the excess goes back to the grid for buttons.
As I understand it, the inverter 'sees' the batteries as a single 600Ah 48v block. As such, the maximum charge for the block should be 6X80A = 240A, but limited to 200A by the cables. So it seems the present 80A limit is wildly wrong. Am I missings something, or have the installers just phoned this in?

Very good point, the installation manual even shows two sets of cables being needed per bank for 200A.
