Why do power generation/usage figure not add up?
Hardware: Sunsynk Hybrid 8Kw Inverter + 3 x Sunsynk 5.1Kw Batteries
I recently requested a Firmware upgrade to my system through the Sunsynk website (now kind of wishing I hadn't as the system was working fine before). Before the update there was always a l sight disparity between the solar/battery/grid values and the load value. This was never large, and I was led to believe it was consumption by the inverter itself (though why the system doesn't add this to the load figure I can't understand).
Since the update there has been some weird behaviour from the battery (which I'll start a separate thread on), and now there is a huge disparity in the above figures - surely the inverter can't be consuming 331W?:
Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on here?
Measuring power generated less power used shows a consistent 2.4 to 2.6 kw per day overhead. Does that seem a reasonable consumption For an inverter plus battery system?
