Fuses and breakers

I have had an SUNSYNK-8K-SG01LP1 Inverter and two SUN-BATT-5.32 installed (with 14 x 400W Longi PV panels).

The installer has not placed any breaker or overcurrent protection between the batteries and the inverter. Neither is there any kind of breaker or overcurrent protection (nor RCD) between the inverter and the essential loads sockets.

I am not an electrician, and the supplier/installer is supposedly on the Sunsynk Master Installer list. However this installation would seem to go against the recommendations in the installation manuals and training materials (let alone common sense)

Please advise.

Update: Installer sent someone who has put a 2-pole breaker with overcurrent protection between the batteries and inverter. Still ongoing discussions about the other things that seem to be missing (like and RCD between the inverter and essential loads sockets). I have been told by two "electricians" now that the RCD on the grid side is protection enough. I was astonished, to be frank.
