Hi,I have a 5kw inverter and I want to trigger the aux port to run a water heater,my set up grid tied with battery’s

I can turn it on manually,but I can’t seen to get it to operated when there is excess pv,this is one of the reason I purchased the inverter so I didn’t have to buy a third party Solar diverted,can this be done.
