I have a small PV install that feeds excess to grid. I have added 3.6kW Ecco with 2x 15kWh Seplos Mason batteries. The inverter detects excess going to the grid. I came across MicroInverter under Aux but wouldn't that require feed from existing inverter into the Aux connection on Ecco unit?

I have seen a GivEnergy AC coupled unit do this (with just a CT clamp) and wondered what I need to do event the same
