F23 Fault

Hi all, i received a number of "F" faults in early August and after reading multiple postings on here about the F23 in particualr on my Parellel 3.6kW ECCO system, all offerings did not resolve my problem. i went into investigative mode, spoke with SS support help desk and a firmware upgrade was suggested and implemented to no avail. Tried several setting adjustments again to no avail. I then split my system into 2 singletons and adjusted the settings accrodingly. During the time the system was in singleton mode Imade a couple of other interesting obersavations to boot which i will explain in my next post. Long story short:-

I eventually dscovered the problem to my F23 issue :- one particualr sunny day I wasnt using the full output from the inverters, the batteries were full and demand on my AC side was low, at the point of low AC demand the inverters were not shutting down the DC input side quick enough and they were spiking current above the threshold, so causing the F23 fault. This ultimatly was due to the fact I have Solar Export - unticked, If Solar Export was ticked the invertors just sent power to Grid instead of faulting to F23.

hope this helps with some peoples problems,

It is good that your system is working.

This not my opinon, but according to Sunsynk, the describe the F23 fault as:

F23 AC leakage current or transient over current

This is a fault on the main side causing an earth leakage trip, double check all your mains cables coming in do a mega test or installation test on the cables to make sure there is no leakage.

This leakage current is from the PV side,

1. Do a mega test or installation test on the cables to make sure there is no leakage.

2. Need check PV side ground connection.

3. Reset the system
