Battery SOC LEDs at different levels on each battery

I have recently had installed a AC coupled battery storage solution. The system consists of a single 3.6kw ECCO hybrid inverter, with no PV connect at present, connected to 2 x 5.32kWh batteries. The SOC LEDs are showing a different levels of charge on each batteries, it appears one battery has a higher level of charge to the other. Is this normal or is there anything that can be done to level up the SOC on the 2 batteries?

I had same issue. If you ate not charging at night and don’t have EVC, you may want to do what i did. I came to conclusion that programming out the batteries and switching them off during winter was better for the batteries and my wallet. SOC balancing only occurs at 100% SOC to bring batteries into synchronisation. In winter PV will never get you to 100% SOC, so the only other way is to periodically tickle them with mains power. Periodically, I mean at least every seven days. Depending on the number and size of your batteries, this could get quite costly and did for me. So I switched the buggers off. Now I feed any eccess back to the mains or my water heater so I’m still making use of PV and the added bonus. I’m not cycling my batteries therefore should be extending the life for more useful times when there is more PV about
