Second inverter
Good day,
I would like some opinions regarding,
Existing setup: 5kw inverter, 2 sunsynk batt, 14 panels.
Want to add another 5kw inverter and 1 Batt
Will the 14 panels be enough?
Will 3 Batt be in order for system?
Do the existing wiring needs upgrade?
Installation will be done by qualified electrician.

I think you might need 4 battery’s in total as each battery can only discharge at a maximum of 2.5kw each, so with 3 battery’s you will be limiting your system to 7.5kw peak demand running from battery only.
I would add another battery to inverter power cable to parallel up the cores.
Depending on the VOC for your panels you could split these with the new inverter to limit solar capping or add extra on the 2 MPPT input for the new inverter. That will come down to roof space and cost
