Inaccurate daily Import energy values

I’ve just started using my new PV battery system and notice the daily imported energy displayed in the Plant list - Energy Generation window, viewed by month, shows daily import values 12% to 15% higher than the smart meter daily readings viewed on the Octopus app.

I know that the Sunsynk connect instantaneous data is sketchy but I would have thought the daily summary data would be more accurate and within 5% of the smart meter reading.

Is this a known issue and does anyone know of a resolution?

The CT is wired in CAT6 and 25m from the inverter.

Yes the officiial line is 10m, but many systems have been able to do more that 10 meters using appropriate cable - Cat 6 will do, although I suggest that you pair the cable - all the colours and white/colours. This should handle 25m.

I suggest that you get someone with a clamp meter to help check the current flows which will alow you to calculate power flows. They may be different due to what is referred to as power factor influence which can also be measured if you have the right equipment.
