Connecting MPPT inputs in parallel ?
I have 10 panels connnected to a single MPPT input on my 5kW hybrid. All panels have TIGO optimisers. The panel peak current is 11A, however the optimisers will boost current and therefore optimal current is often > 13A. The inverter limits at around 12.6A.
Is it safe to connect both MPPT inputs in parallel to the same string to take advantage of the additional current ( + power) capability?

The Trina Vertex S panels have an OC voltage of 41.2 at 25 degrees C, increasing by 0.25% per degree below that. My calculations for 10 panels:
412V @ 25 celcius
448V @ -10 celcius
That still leaves 52V margin.
