flat line PV panel voltage normal?

Hi All

I am having an issue with my PV panel voltage sometimes flatline at around 180v nearly all day [except for some peaks].

Sometimes the voltage is a normal graph [see screenshots] but othertimes one of the strings is flat line or sometimes both! It occurs on PV1 and PV2 and generally lasts all day only on that string. Overall, I woud say that one string is flat voltage about 1/3 of the time.

I contacted the PV manafacturer and they say its normal but I can't see how it is as its a flat line meaning somes sort of limitiation by something??? When both are around 180v the PV power is definately limited........

PV spec sheet also attached. I have an 8kW inverter, 15kWh battery and x2 strings in series of 6 panels on different aspect roofs.

Thanks for any thoughts. Matt

Hi Groots

Thanks for the reply. Please find attached for the 6th [both flat voltage] and the 13th [one PV flat voltage]. I haven't included the others as on those days I had the PV limitied as I was away.

I'll look for another example if I can where power seemed limited.

What are your thoughts please? Matt

It's normal and expected for voltage to be flat, but not this flat. Which inverter do you have, are you hitting minimum mppt voltage by any chance?
