What is the reason that it is better to AC couple the string inverter? If it's simply a case of a slightly easier install then I'm okay using the Aux port if it saves me the cost of a meter. My PV consumer unit is adjacent to my inverter so it's no big job. According to Sunsynk the Sunsynk inverter will automatically throttle back it's own PV production if the combined production of the string inverter and main inverter reach the set export limit.
I'm sure I read somewhere that Sunsynk recommend to use the Aux port if the string inverter is less than half the size of the main inverter and to AC couple of it is over half the size. They didn't say why though.
