Batteries failing to charge (Solved)

I thought I'd post this in here and maybe it will help others.

After 3 day of waiting for a response from support, I made call into the support number after initially riasing a ticket via the support portal, this will generate a support ticket number and I believe the SLA once this is raised is 48 hours, once this 48 hours was up I called in quoting my support ticket number and was put through to an engineer immediately. The engineer fixed the issue within 5 minutes of looking through my setting.

Anyway to cut a long story short these were my setting \ circumstances,

System mode

Low Batt (0-100%) = 25%

ShutDown (0-100%) = 20%

Restart (0-100%) = 30%

My charge window was 00:30 - 04:30 to 80%

Essentially if I kept the battery above 30% the nightly force charge worked with no issues. Anything below 30% and the inverter would not force charge the batteries.

Anyway there is a setting in Battery for Grid Start (10-90%) = 30

Essentially if the battery drop below the Grid Start value number the inverter will not force charge the battery not matter what you have in the charge window.

Another thing that needs to be checked.

With the charge window make sure you have it in chronalogical time order spanning 24 hours in total. With mine you can see my charge windows starts at 00:30 and finishes at 04:30 and the last time slot starts at 23:30 and thus finishes the next day at 00:30 If for instance I was to change Time 3 to 19:00 this will cause a none chronlogical order as the timings would be

00:30 > 04:30 > 19:00 > 17:00 > 23:30 >

This will cause the schedule to fail

Also just found this out, the settings in the screenshot above for *Battery SOCx need to be at least 1% higher than the setting in the Battery Settings \ Low Batt fields.

For example if you Battery Settings \ Low Batt is set to 25% the value in the System Mode \ *Battery SOCx must be 26% I've been informed that if this is lowe for Example System Mode \ *Battery SOCx is set to 24% the inverter protects the batteries and will not charge them.

Hope this helps others in the future.

For the record - Grid Start does nothing - it has no function
