Sunsynk and Daikin ASHP

Hi. We had a Daikin heat pump fitted in November and solar PV with Sunsynk inverter and batteries fitted last month. I'm watching the data from the inverter and we rarely we see any charge making it to the battery. The graph for generation and load seem to parallel each other very carefully. When the panels and inverter kick in, the heat pump kicks in and consumes everything generated and also seems not to climb above the generated figure We're seeing a pattern build up of our ASHP heating the house during the day, between 9 to 10 am and on to late afternoon and then virtually no heating for the rest of the 24 hours, just a trickle. Is this coincidence (it doesn't seem it) or are the Sunsynk and Daikin plants 'talking to each other'? I'm asking because I'm trying to work out our energy use pattern, so that I can choose and energy tariff with Octopus.

And thank you for setting up so that we have proper data. Our heat pump has been 'a difficult journey' and Daikin don't seem to understand that we mere mortals need to be able to work out if the kit is working well.

Many thanks

May I enquire if you know if there is a connection made to the connector marked "Load" on the inverter? The connection can be seen just behind the front panel with 4 screws. The reason I ask is that Keith recently put out a video the highlighted some misconceptions held by installers. One of these was that the "Load" connection was the output of the inverter. This is Not the case. The Load connection is the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) in the event of loss of grid. However if all your load is running off this I would expect to see something like you are describing.

Kindest regards

D.
