Hi. I have a SunSynk inverter and battery.
I'm on Octopus and I want the battery to charge from solar and to export the battery when the price is over 30p which is only a few 30 minute segments today.
So I activated Agile pricing and what's happened is the battery is just discharging till flat (20% min). Regardless of the price.
It changed my System Setting to Selling First.
The manual seems to cover the front of the inverter that is in my loft rather than the app/web app. And it's confusing anyway. So I'm lost what to do to get what I want: to charge the battery from solar; sell excess solar and then sell from the battery in the evening when the price is high.
Maybe I need to set a batt minimum higher than 20% as a start. I have 5 kw battery and need 1-2KW for evening/overnight.
Any ideas?
My battery always supplies to the house irrespective of what the discharge price is set at. Never to the grid unless selling first is selected
