Invertor Failures
Hi i install 2 x 5 kw sunsynk invertor with 14 x 455 watt solar panels two string ,one string for each invertor with 4 x 5.1 kw dyness vatt. The system running 100% for 11 months when tha slave invertor trip .After reset both invertors the dc surgeprotector blow on the negative on slave invertor string and blow the invertor as well.
We replace the invertor check everything .we chek the solar cable , we check the ground wire ,everything was right..The system we installed was a recon nachine as slave and was running for two months .Blown again the machine only comes on when main power was on and did not start from batteries .We double check every thing could not found any issue.No thunder storms I installed a new invertor and running 100% but still worry because still not knowing the problem
