solar emps - are sunsynk inverters protected?
what precautions if any, have sunsynk inverters/chargers, incorporated to deal with solar emps following carrington like events of the sun?

If you think that a solar EMP (or manmade EMP) is going to affect you panels that is the least of you worries. I am not an expert on this topic and I an mot a conspircy theorist either. Solar panels work on solar irradance so they are are more likely to survive an electromagnetic blast. I would be more worried about you inverter and for that matter any electronic equipment. The only way to protect your inverter would be to put it inside a Faraday cage. Unfortunately, even if your solar inverter and charge controller is in a Faraday cage, EMP signals can still fry your circuit technologies if the system is plugged into the Grid.
