Understanding Solar Export to Non-Essential
Hi All.
I have a 12KW , 3Phase inverter with 2 x 5KW Batteries and 12 x Solar Panels.
The installer has put my 3 x Geysers , Pool Pump and jacuzzi on Non Essential
The rest of the house is on essential. The purpose of my system is to provide my home (essentials) with backup power during Load shedding (grid outages) and also to export my excess solar during the day to my non-essential .
Please note that the installer did not install any CT Coils , however when i look at the display of the inverter , I do see a CT Coil and I see that there is an export to the non essential (house icon)
Please advise if the export is actually going to my non-essentials or directly feeding into the grid?
I have also removed the Solar Export tick to see if it makes a difference, and the Solar production just ramps down considerably 0.01Kw
Please help me understand what is happening and what i should do,
