Sun 50K HV with Fwon HV bms communication fault
Freedom Won has uploaded the battery profile and we have established comms, cable pin 8 and 7 at battery and 4 and 5 at inverter, the display shows the battery info, but still give the bms comms fault, updated the inverter firmware as well

You only tell the inverter what type of battery, eg Lithium, comms type (CAN) and the protocol (0). It is on the battery BMS where you choose the inverter type (not sure how this is done on the Fwon battery)
