Will non-essential loads still be powered if no grid but excess PV?
Hi all
am about to upgrade my system to Sunsynk and am trying to figure out where to best install my non-essential loads (heat pump, pool pump, washing machine, tumble dryer).
My current plan is to leave them on the main DB between the CT coil and the inverter. If I understand correctly, the inverter will then push back excess PV to power these non-essential loads and minimize grid usage. Correct?
But what will happen if we are in loadshedding and no grid is available? If my excess PV exceeds the non-essential load, will they still work? Or as long as there is no grid, they will be dead for sure?
Should I rather move the non-essential loads (all or some) to Aux?
Thanks for your advice

That is true but it gives you the option to use some of them if needed when loadshedding, don’t have to have everything on and the original question was to use when solar was available
