Laying a battery flat on it back
Hello!
I want to add an additional Sunsynk SunBatt 5.32kw battery to our system (3.6kw inverter plus 2 x 5.32kw SunBatt) but we've run out of nearby wall space. I was wondering if I can lay the new battery on it's back on the floor nearby the existing batteries. Can the batteries be used in that way?

The preferred mounting method is to wall mount the battery.
The following comment is just my opinion. There is nothing mechanically or technically preventing the battery from operating normally while laying on it's back except the switch and LEDs could be damaged by something being placed on the unit.
Maybe you should of purchased the rack mounted version of this battery.
