Standby Electricity consumption
Hi we are looking at having an off grid system installed. The technical details for the Sunsynk 16kW single phase Hybrid inverter seems to suggest that even in standby mode the inverter would use about 1 kW of electricity per day. This would not matter to us for most of the year but in the dark winter months it would be a big "base load" to carry before we look at other demands on the system. Is this figure accurate in practice or would it be lower?

My 12kW inverter uses between 160W and 360W internal consumption, depending on the PV supply and load. This is substantially higher than what I was told when buying the unit.
