Battery bank per inverter on parallel setup
Hi,
I currently have 2 x 8kw inverters running in parallel. I also have 8 lithium batteries connected to a bus bar and then to the master and slave. (The batteries are not compatible so it is set to AGM).
I want to add another inverter with another 4 batteries but since these will be new batteries I do not want them to be part of the older battery bank. What I want to know is can change the configuration to give each inverter its own battery bank so each one will have 4 batteries that are only connected to them via the dc cables and the inverter will handle the rest?

I assume batteries also need to be the same size? I cant add one 14kwh battery to a string of 4.8kwh batteries. Are there any other options or is my only option to keep adding 4.8kwh batteries? It does not seem like a good idea to have 12 or later maybe even 16 4.8kwh batteries in parallel
