Un-commanded export from battery explained
For anyone out there who has signed up to Loop Energy's Sunsynk integration programme (via TrustPower) just be aware they are carrying out trials as we speak. I've had un-commanded (by me) export from my battery to the grid on two occasions during the last week, which Sunsynk couldn't explain. It dawned on me this morning that it might be Octopus or Loop trialling their Sunsynk integration so I emailed them both. Nothing back from Octopus yet, but I had a very quick response from Loop/TrustPower saying yes, testing has begun and apologising for not notifying me beforehand. If all goes well this could be available to all Sunsynk users with batteries that are not supported by Octopus yet - watch this space!
