Charge/Discharge rate for 3 x 5.12 Batteries

OK, a bit of a newbie question. I have an 8kw inverter, 6.4kw Solar and 3 x 5.12 BYD batteries. The installer set the charge and discharge rate to 85amps. Problem is that the discharge rate only produces about 4.3kw power and my house (during cooking times etc) requires more than that. For a short period of time, but still annoying.

Give that most of the literature says that the 100amp batteries should have a normal discharge rate of 50amps each and with three batteries that would be 150amp, what would be considered a reasonably safe charge/discharge rate for this. I do not want to damage the batteries.

I have 4 x 5.12 Sunsynk batteries and an 8kW inverter. Make sure that there are 2 pairs of equal length cable connecting each end of the batteries back to the inverter - my installer just put one pair of cable on and they would overheat. I had to get this changed before increasing the amps to the 8kW capacity of the inverter. PS The amp settings in the battery settings section refer to the voltage of the batteries, even when setting the charge rate from the grid.
