I am only a user and no technical expert on this. However, I experienced with my 12kw 3fase SS that at the occurrence of a first "over current" fault, the inverter shuts down automatically and restarts by itself after a few seconds.
The first "over current" fault is displayed on the app. This is not always noticed as your app is not always monitored and then also after a first ocurrence the inverter outomatically resets after a few seconds. If a second "over current" occurrs shortly after the first "over current", it seems the inverter "realises" it is not caused by an exceptional spike in load (e.g. 2 motorised loads co-incidently starting the same time), and "interpret" the second occurrence as a more serious fault and then causes the circuitbreaker in the inverter itself to trip. If the circuit breakers in the inverter and essential db are rated equal, then subsequent tripping of either of the circuits can occurr. This mostly happens in SA during (our frequent) loadshedding schedules when there is no grid power available to supplement a sudden load spike requiremnt.
