Battery SOC increase for no reason
Hello
Sunsynk 8KW Inverter
I had 2 SUN-BAT-5.32 and then added a third.
The installer added a DC combiner box when the 3rd battery was added.
There are no problems that affect the operation of the plant but I noticed that sometimes when the batteries are discharging overnight, the SOC drops nice and linearly (and flatlining when reaching the system defined SOC for that period) but then sharply goes up a few percent and resumes the discharge.
AFAIK this shouldn't happen because the system timer should let it go to 40% (as set) and the grid graphs don't have any indication of the grid being used to charge the battery.
What would cause the increase in SOC ?
Regards

With those settings active the response you see IMO is unexpected still ......................🤔
I do something similar a few times a week and definitely can reach 10% no sweat.
On your graph just after 6AM - what happened there for the charging to "stop" (even though it should not have started in the first place!) .............
So from about 7AM your PV is charging the batteries? then?
I would try and get Sunsynk to do a firmware update as a first step.
