sunsynk alongside 3rd party inverter
HI all,
I am planning a new solar setup using a sunsynk 8kw inverter and battery.
i already have a solar array with a 3kw inverter (not a sunsynk) attached to the grid, this is on a holiday cottage.
Im planning on adding a solar array to the main house leaving the current setup on the cottage alone.
both properties use the same meter.
if i add a new setup for the main house will i have to do anything with the current setup for the cottage? ie upgrade the inverter to a sunsynk?
if i have to upgrade the current inverter to sunsynk can i have 2 different size sunsynk inverters in parallel?
Many thanks
Russ

Hi All,
This has slightly evolved since i have the DNO limited me to an additional 5kw inverter with zero export limit.
my plan is now to install a 5kw inverter and use Eddi power diverters for both hot water tanks and set the sunsynk to zero export.
can someone please help sanity check my brain in regards to the CT clamps as there will be three of them.
the garage has a 3kw inverter already in place and my plan is to prevent as much export from this by placing a eddi after the FIT meter.
The 2 inverters will now remain separate from each other and the new sunsynk inverter will capture any additional power generated using the CT clamp and divert to the battery.
