No DC Isolator or Fuse on Battery
Just had an 8kW inverter and 5.12kW CATL battery installed but the installer did not install a fuse/isolator arrangement for the battery and instead come direct off the inverter to the battery terminals. When I questioned this they stated they don't need to if you are running 3 or less batteries. I am planned on adding more batteries possibly up to 4. Is the installer correct in these statements it seems false economy not to have some form or protection regardless.
