Battery charging and discharging rate drop off
We've had issues with this during the colder weather, we have insulated our batteries and they have performed slightly better. We're in the UK and are on Octopus Cosy tariff, so have 3 cheap charging times. Now the temperature is warmer and the batteries are consistently above 10° the charging rate drops of above 70% and the discharging rate drops of around 40%. Do I just keep them charging until they reach 100% - will take a long time at 454w!! Since the warmer weather I have seen 3000w+ going in. I'm assuming they need fully charging to reset this pattern - am I right?
Is there anything else I can do?
