TURNING OFF SYSTEM WHEN ABSENT
Is it a good practise to turn off the solar panel input to the inverter when absent for more than a week?

Like I said in another post. Batteries do not like being at 100% constantantly especially if it is hot [think stretched inflated ballon!].
Personally when I go away I set the max PV to 1000W so that the battery never gets full. Then re-set it the day before I return.
