Batteries not charging and discharging
Hi all - bit desperate my system 2x Eco 5Kw paralleled connected to 2 x Seplos paralleled batteries - worked great. Until i got an over volt in one pack (Master) - BMS shut the battery down. I tried all ways to restart battery and clear codes - eventually had to disconnect BMS from battery and power it down. I then restarted it.....and fault cleared! Yippee. However the Sunsynk Master Inverter now has this code...........COMM:E439-MCU3386-1515. I think it may be a comm error with battery..........all settings on the battery are good. Except one batteries LEDs blink sometimes......(these are the green power ones) on the slave battery. If I go into the Bluetooth Battery BMS I can see the batteries appear paralleled and show the sum amperage. Looking at the inverter....it appears to be monitoring voltage and other parameters....
I am stuck.......is it a Seplos issue or a Sunsynk issue.............
I have tried powering down inverters and then restarting....and also the batteries.........
Can anyone help I am at my whit's end?????
Inverter only talks to one battery, then batteries talk to each other. In your case comms between battery and inverter works ok, so the issue is with comms between batteries.
You can possibly disconnect the batteries and connect inverter to each battery individually to see if both work independently.
