Replacing SMA Equipment
I am off grid and have a single phase installation consisting:
Proven 6kW Windturbine 2 strings of Solar Panels - 4kWp in total
20kWh of led actd traction batteries
16.5 kva Diesel generator
Those power sources
6kW SMA Windy Boy, after a SMA inverter and protection box to limit the DC output to 600v
4kW SMA Sunny Boy
With a 5kW SMA Sunny Island (SB5024) controlling all those devices
Monitoring with RS432 and a SMA Sunny Webbox.
The equipment was installed ~20 years ago so is coming to the end of its life.
So my questions are:
Can I replace the equipment with Sunsync inverter/s? And if so which one/s?
If I can use my existing Leasd acid batteries inteh short term (they should be good for anopther 2-5 years.)
Finally. is this the best place to ask or should I email customer servivces?
